Hampton Inn and Suites Deptford

Hampton Inn saved the day! My reservation at a local Marriott was overbooked leaving me scrambling at 2 am. Hampton inns front desk host welcomed me with a smile and an open room! So clean, great breakfast, and every staff member was smiling. Thank you!

Definitely worth it. Many hotels will not take a cat. This was a great location, spacious and clean room. Indoor pool. Breakfast was decent with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles and typical fruits, yogurt, cereal, bagels etc. 24hr gym. They let me park my tractor bobtail in the back of the lot. My only complaint at all was not them, it was the call center. Hilton apparently had 2 accounts for my rewards. Trying to fix that along with revising my dates was a nightmare. This stay fixed that though. Will stay there anytime in town. Easy access to all major NJ interstates and highways. 20 min to Phila, 40 min to Atlantic City. 1 hr to NYC. Rental car facility next door, tons of restaurants nearby. Also, i have no idea what one review said about lack of drawer/storage. I had not only a closet in the bathroom, but various drawers throught. Comfy sofa, comfy mattress, and spacious desk.

Huge, clean rooms at a very convenient location! The staff was extremely attentive and checked in often to ensure we had a great stay. I will definitely recommend this property and will stay here again!

I have been staying at this location for many years. It is well maintained and the amenities are contemporary. It is also a convenient location, also close to shopping and decent restaurants. I will keep staying here anytime I'm in the area.

Loved everything about this hotel. Great free breakfast, free parking, pool, workout center, and anything we needed the gave us and late checkout for free. Water bottle units around hotel and you can get coffee, tea, or hot chocolate anytime in the lobby. Great Stay!!!!

I will get my one negative comment out the way and say that the rooms could've been cleaner. I requested a switch out of my first room due to food residue being scattered about. I booked a few hours before checking in due to an emergency so it very well could've been that I came in between cleanings. That said, the lady I checked in with was extremely kind during check in and when I requested my switch. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious both days of my stay. The gym is small but has a good variety of workout tools. The price for a last minute emergency booking on my part was very good. If you're looking for a casual stay and need a comfortable, safe place to sleep I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would go back again.

I just wanted to write to express my sincere gratitude for the great customer service I received while staying at your hotel. After a very unfortunate experience with an After a very unfortunate experience with a Airbnb, a last-minute notice was given to your hotel through my American Express credit card to check in and Paul did my initial check in and he was so kind and polite. My next interaction was with Ariulkis She sent me several text messages throughout my stay checking in on me. Any question I had at the front desk. She was more than willing to answer them and was very polite the entire time. The housekeeping staff were awesome as well. provided me with additional towels and anything else that I need. Last, but not least Shawna at the front desk was so thorough so patient and polite and answering all of my questions it was definitely an awesome stay for my daughter‘s 16th birthday celebration and the next time I travel to New Jersey. I will definitely be staying at this hotel. It was safe clean quiet great food great people overall 10 out of 10 stay thank you so much..

We stayed here while my husband had work in the area, so it was work and "vacation." Check in went smoothly, but when my husband went to the front to ask for extra towels, the young lady slammed down her crochet/knitting that she was working on and handed him the towels that were already sitting behind her. He had asked earlier and we thought they would be brought to the room. So, he went down to get them. We don't know why she seemed upset. I don't understand why only 3 towels are provided when the room sleeps 4. The room was clean, but the bathroom door was difficult to move. The inside didn't have a proper handle for opening and closing. The beds were small. We were expecting Queen beds. These seemed like they were barely full size. The people in the room next door must be living in the hotel, because they were there all week and were VERY loud. The walls are either very thin or they were yelling their conversations and laughing EXTRA loud. At some points, kids were screaming. Twice we had to call the front desk to ask them to be quiet after 1 AM. The kitchen/breakfast staff are really nice. There did appear to be issues with the vendors/supply. There was no meat for breakfast one morning. The orange and apple juice was labeled "out of order" for two days, and they ran out of plastic knives, making cutting the kids' waffles a challenge. There could be more options for breakfast for those who stay longer than two days. It was plain scrambled eggs or a plain cheese omelette on rotation for the entire week. A third Belgian waffle maker may come in handy. The maple syrup, caramel and chocolate toppings are a nice touch. I don't think people eat oatmeal much during the summer months, but it was there daily. At least one "sweet" cereal should be an option. Having coffee and tea available throughout the day was nice. This location should also try adding the afternoon/evening cookies as well. The enclosed pool is nice. It was surprising that it wasn't heated. Possibly it's only heated during the winter months? Overall, it was a nice stay. We would stay here again, because the possibility of getting the same room with noisy neighbors would be slim to none. It's a great location.
